Our story starts way back
Your drive becomes a little different once you discover your destiny.
Joslyn is one of the founding members of Talitha Cumi, a non-profit organization providing transfusions of hope until women can rise up with the courage of Christ. Joslyn brings a broad range of education and experience to the team. She has an extensive background in legal affairs, non-profit start-ups, with both her Juris Doctorate and LLM in taxation. She has worked for recovery homes, shelters, homes for survivors of human trafficking, as well as representation of several multi-million dollar international companies. In addition, she has a huge heart for women and children.
Joslyn is also a survivor. In 2005 she survived a kidnapping and attempted murder, followed by several years of trying to survive raising her children. She was an active participant in the state’s equivalent of the witness protection program, and she has had to move over 30 times in the past 15 years, in order to protect her family. She has first-hand experience of the heartache and trauma caused by frequent relocation of her family, especially during her 2 daughters young lives. Joslyn is committed to helping all women and children to obtain stability and security…for the sole purpose of finding out their whole identity is not based on anything they can do, rather their identity is tied directly to whose they are.
She believes once all women find out who they are in Christ, they will be an unstoppable force for God’s kingdom. Once a woman feels the love of our Heavenly Father, there is nothing that can hold them back from their destiny.
